Riding the trail "Top of the World" accessed via Whistler's Peak Chair, opening 2012 to mountain bikesWhistler is once again upping the ante of lift accessed mountain biking.  The recent press release states that the Peak Chair will be taking riders up to the peak of Whistler Mountain where they can access the new trail,  “Top of the World,” which will flow through the alpine, connecting to the Garbonzo trail network.

This will give riders over 4600 feet of vertical to shred.  The most in North America.

Whistler is limiting the number of riders per day to around 100, to keep the alpine experience tight.  It sounds like it will cost around $15 more, and riders will need to book in advance.
